As a special education teacher that co-teaches as well as teaches in the resource classroom, I have always felt a struggle with behavior consistency in my groups because I enter so many different systems by entering so many different classrooms.
This year, our school's teachers are all using the "Clip Up, Clip Down" behavior system which helps me a lot! For my purposes, either the student can enter my resource room or collaborative setting carrying their own mini-chart, or I can provide them with one I've already made. Either way, I will now have the ability to use the same behavior language that they've heard all day. Consistency is key!
