This is a great resource to use when you are first teaching children about the beginning (initial) sounds in simple words.
Simply set out the cards that you desire with a supply of clothespins for students to use when identifying initial sounds. This is a great resource for students to use to strengthen their letter recognition, develop letter/sound correspondence knowledge, learn new vocabulary, and work on their fine motor skills. Set out as many cards as you wish at a time, making this a great independent center activity.
Each letter of the alphabet has an A4 card with 6 clip art images; up to 4 images begin with the given sound per letter.
Included in this resource is a file with the font Sassoon Infant and a file with the font Comic Sans, making this a very versatile product. I have also included the "Q" sound with a card for 'q' and 'qu'.
