I recently decided to dive into flexible seating next year. I've been pumped to get right to it, but hit a dead end when I thought about what my students would use as a quick reference if they didn't have a nameplate. Then this idea popped into my head: What if they could take it with them wherever they decided to learn? Aha, a clipboard nameplate!
This handy dandy download includes 6 options for you and your students' needs. There are vertical nameplate as well as horizontal -- and the horizontal nameplates come in left- and right-handed orientation, so no one feels left out!
There's also a colorful text version and a black text version so it'll always match your classroom decor.
Here are some set up ideas:
-- Print and laminate each nameplate, then hot glue them to each clipboard.
-- No laminator or hot glue gun? No worries! Line up the name plate on the clipboard so it's nice and straight and tape the whole thing down with clear packing tape!
-- Want to add more flair? Before packing tape, add some washi tape (I added a bit to mine as seen in the picture) and you're stylin'!
-- Want to re-use your clipboard nameplates year after year? DON'T write on the paper. Instead, write on the laminated part. End of the year rolls around, just wipe away with Goo Gone, a magic eraser, or (my favorite) a dry erase marker!
Hope you and your kiddos enjoy using these nameplates!
