Product Description

This freebie is a SAMPLE of "some" of the activities for one passage from my monthly close reading and text evidence unit for March.

Six Common Core aligned activities are included for this FREEBIE!

The full unit is described below. This is the "Spring" passage from the March unit listed below.

___________________________________________________________________

Each unit has:

*** Good Old Fashion Table of Contents with page numbers.

*** Modern Clickable Titles: Table of Contents with lexile levels.

*** "Close Reading" suggested 3-4 day breakdown lessons.

For Homework:

These monthly units also work well for weekly homework. They work well for homework because they are exposed to the format in class---therefore, they know the expectation and are comfortable with the style. Another reason they work well is because you get to differentiate. Principals and administration love it! :)
