These are my Close Reading Activities from my Poetry Unit for Interactive Student Notebooks for older students. Students annotate and discuss three classic poems that get progressively more challenging over the course of study. The third Close Read can also be used as a quiz. Each Close Read comes with annotations for the teacher. (grades 7-10)
