Description

Help your students develop their knowledge and understanding of literature texts with these analysis and close reading tasks. Included are 48 tasks across 12 different sheets. What makes these tasks so fun and unique? The worksheets are tearable. Students can choose which task they would like to complete.

How do I use these in my classroom?

  • Either print multiple copies (remember I have included blackline and color to help with printing costs) of the one skill I want to focus on. I pin them up around the room. Then I give students a fixed amount of time (say 20 mins) to complete 3 tasks.
  • Or you could print several different skill pages and use these as stations.
  • They would make a great revolving bell ringer or starter activity while reading any text.

Contents:

→ 8 Knowledge tasks – color and black and white 2pgs

→ 8 Comprehension tasks – color and black and white 2pgs

→ 8 Analysis tasks – color and black and white 2pgs
