In this fun activity, students review the questions, comments, and responses of the following characters from the trial: Mr. Gilmer, Atticus Finch, Sheriff Tate, Mr. Ewell, Mayella Ewell, and Tom Robinson. They gather textual evidence, identify purposes, and make inferences during this activity. Then, students assume the roles of jury members and evaluate the evidence, determining a verdict and writing rationales for their decisions.
