This packet has two non-fiction close reads with activities;a great way to incorporate compare/contrast of two selections as well as cross-curricular subject matter. Each paragraph is numbered. These are core-aligned with text dependent questions, vocabulary work, comparisons, and writing.

It can be used as small group intervention, whole group work, independent work, or buddy work.The product also lends itself to writing opinions about preferences of chocolate vs vanilla.
