Close Your Eyes: Meditation Stories for the Imagination

This collection of eight meditation stories has been designed for children from the ages of four to twelve. The meditation stories can be used in classrooms or kindergartens during quiet times of the day, or during transitions. It is intended that children relax and close their eyes while the teacher reads the stories. The children are then able to disappear into their imaginations, and enjoy the rich language and positive messages in the stories. At the end of each story the main character (the child) falls asleep. In this way, the children can experience full relaxation and rest during a busy day of learning.
