These close and critical readings were developed to give my AP environmental science students a better wealth of reading materials that were more closely tailored to the content they were required to know and not as overwhelming as just reading straight from the text. This collection of readings introduces students to a variety of basic topics touched upon in environmental science. It can be used for an environmental science class or as SAT prep. Students are tasked with reading the text, answering the questions (in complete sentences), and then highlighting where their justification for that answer can be found in the text. In some cases, students are asked to give opinions or make inferences based on the information in the text, but whose answer will not be found directly in it.
Included in this product:

"Solving Environmental Problems"
