These no-frills dotted number cards (1-5) can be used in about a million different ways! I work with students with a variety of special needs, so the simple design helps keep the focus on the task at hand. (:
For use in my PPCD classroom, they were printed on card stock and laminated. The students pinch clothespins onto each dot on the card (for some pincer grasp practice) and then count the number of clothespins.
I could also see students sorting them by number, sorting them into "no number", "numeral", and "number word" categories, or putting them in order from greatest to least, least to greatest, etc.
The idea for this product is NOT my own. This is just my version of it. Enjoy!
