This game is made to practice the different forms of the irregular adjectives beau, vieux, and nouveau with various articles of clothing. To play, divide students into pairs and tell them to get a different color pen from their partner. Display one sheet and explain the instructions. Students must combine the noun from the top and the adjective from the left and write the combination in their choice of box. Their pen color designates their spaces and the goal is to get three boxes in a row. However, if their partner notices a mistake, they can correct it to steal that box. Walk around the room during the game to answer any questions or settle any disputes.
There are two games on each page, for a total of six different versions of Tic Tac Toe. Feel free to modify this resource to meet the needs of your curriculum.
