What is Teddy wearing?
Llanguage Llamas world language customizable resources can be used to teach any language – German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Hebrew, Russian, Polish, to name but a few. All you need to do is neatly write or type in the title, instructions and vocab in your target language before photocopying. Students love the activities and the cute graphics. English copies are provided in a separate file as an example.
‘What is Teddy wearing?’ is designed to help students practice using the vocab sets - clothing and colors and, if appropriate in the target language, noun adjective agreement. The students color in a teddy bear and then write four sentences to describe it using a clothing word and a color word. The completed pages can be used to make a colorful wall display.
Handouts of the clothing and color vocab are included in the pack. These handouts can be given to all students if this is an early activity, given to some to provide differentiation or not used at all if you want to use the activity as assessment of learning.
As a final activity, students can design and color in their own teddy bears and write four sentences of description or design and then swap with a partner to write the description.
