A work sheet in which students describe the prices of various items based upon their price in American dollars and the exchange rate to the currency of Spanish-speaking countries.
For each number, students must fill in the name of the country and do the exchange rate in order to price the clothing items. I typically provide students with a blank map and the countries numbered (you can find such maps on TpT) or you can have students search the Internet to match the name of the country with its currency.
Great interdisciplinary practice involving math and economics while
also practicing Spanish clothing vocabulary and numbers. This also works great when done in small groups or alone.
The work sheet is entirely in Spanish.
*Exchange rates current as of 2/3/13*
