Are you looking for a new way for your students to review solving equations? This game is the answer. It is modeled after the board game CLUE. This file includes all you need for a fun filled day of solving equations; 13 problem posters to be placed around the room , a logic worksheet to document the clues, and map of the property.
The activity is designed to have students work in groups and OUT OF THEIR SEATS! Your students will work with a partner or in a small group and solve equations. The goal is to determine the murderer, the murder weapon, and the time and place of the crime. Each of the 13 posters has three solutions and clues displayed. However, only the correct answer will yield the correct and complete clue to the crime. Once all problems have been answered correctly, all 4 pieces to the crime will be solved. There are many different types of questions (one step, two step, multi-step, distribution, and combining like terms) so students can be exposed to many types of equations. Enjoy!
**NOTE** Students must have a wireless device and a QR reader downloaded to use this activity. Itunes and Android market have many free apps that can be used.
