This can be used for ESL, modified for other foreign languages such as French, Spanish, German, etc. Students use question words and school vocabulary to identify a criminal, such as in Clue. There is a page with a link to a video of people playing Clue for those who did not know the game. I created little cards that I handed out to students with locations and weapons. I also randomly drew two cards. These would be put aside. (As in the card game Old Maid, where these cards identify who is the culprit, randomly). These were the locations and weapons that they would tell people they have. Students create a list where they record names, locations, and weapons of each student. When all students have completed their "interrogations", they report back and we complete a Kahoot poll with the name of the culprit(s). Based on data, and the results of the cards from "evidence", the teacher identifies which students are caught "red-handed".
