Are your teachers going to be co-teaching? There is nothing that can make them more successful than being prepared! This useful planning guide checklist gets them ready by covering the following topics:
Great for those new to co-teaching or for those starting the year with a new co-teaching partner. Also handy for those leading co-teaching professional development sessions!
This list of guiding questions come directly from my experience co-teaching inclusion classrooms with special education teachers, a first and second grade multi-age classroom with a fellow elementary teacher and a second grade classroom with an ESOL teacher.
This is the School Site License version of my popular co-teaching checklist, and it does not have to be renewed each year. With this license, you may print out and use a checklist for each teacher and support staff member in your building. This checklist may be uploaded onto a secure school server for easy access for all staff members, however it may not be posted on school websites or teacher blog pages without express permission from Look Out Learning. The file may not be uploaded to an online location where it can be found by search engines, and it may not be stored in a shared Dropbox. It may not be copied into powerpoint presentations or used for professional development outside of the school it was purchased for. Personnel at the school district level should purchase one site license for each school building using the checklist. Please keep a copy of your receipt of purchase as documentation of your rights of use.
