The coat of arms is a great way to get your students interested in the symbolism of the middle ages. Get their creativity flowing by having them design their own coat of arms with these simple coloring pages.

This resource does include some curriculum such as a short video that displays real coat of arms in history, a quick reads history page, two social studies vocabulary flash cards, and a small workbook that gives students a variety of learning methods.

This is technically a print and go lesson and would be perfect as an add-on to your medieval lesson.
