Product Description
"The best things in life are free. The second best are very expensive." Coco Chanel (French fashion designer ~ 1883 - 1971)

If there's one name that the world knows, it's Chanel.

Coco Chanel, the famous French fashion icon, changed forever the way women dress. From extremely humble beginnings, she rose to create a couture house of world renown.

Did you know, though, that Chanel had a 'double' ?

Or do you know why her perfume bottle has that particular shape ?

Looking for an interesting way to include culture in your class ?

Want to energize those last few days before the Christmas break or summer vacation ?

Then let your students learn about Chanel's world of the early 1900s and this legendary icon in a fun way. There are 25 questions with two extra tie-breaker questions. All questions are in English and colorfully illustrated.

Have two teams, show the question on your overhead, let teams choose an answer, then show the correct answer and award a point to the winner.

Wondering how to 'Teach Across The Curriculum' ?

Here is a way that will capture your students' attention and help them learn about one of the most influential and intriguing women of our times ~ an unassuming French seamstress who changed fashion history forever. (58 pages)

* OF SPECIAL NOTE *
I have created my products as Word documents because that is how I use them. They are unlocked so teachers can change vocabulary words or modify things if they wish.

If you prefer a different format for the overhead, below are some suggestions, however the pictures may have to be inserted separately.

To Make A Slide Show In ActivInspire
If you use ActivInspire, you can save the Word document as a pdf (this is easily done with the newer versions of Word), then you can simply import the pdf to ActivInspire and have a document for that format.

To Make A Slide Show In PowerPoint
If you prefer to use the PowerPoint format, you can easily convert a Word document to a PowerPoint.

This link explains it clearly: 'Creating A PowerPoint From A Word Document.'
