Here's a product that's great for kids who have participated in the Hour of Code or who have played Lightbot or Kodable online.
These colorful printable bracelets are in ASCII binary code. Each letter of the alphabet is represented by eight "bits", which is a unit called a "byte". For each letter, space, and punctuation of the code, we have a different byte. (For example, our saying on these bracelets is 14 bytes long - 11 letters, 2 spaces, and 1 punctuation mark.)
Colorized and black and white versions are available. Just print, cut, and tape or glue these bracelets together for your students to wear with pride. They'll have a "secret" code that only those who know ASCII can decipher.
