The best way for students to learn inheritance patterns is to practice. Here, I've done the leg work for you and created a set of practice problems for both co-dominance and incomplete dominance inheritance patterns. Each question includes a description of the inheritance pattern and an image of the organism in the question as well as a punnett square for students to fill in and space for them to write their answer. The problem set includes 13 practice problems as well as a challenge set where students create their own problem and explain which inheritance pattern it falls under. This took my inclusion students (mix of regular education 10th grade, ELL 11 and 12th grade, and 10th grade special education students) a full 60 minutes to work through.
