Coffee Shop Number Puzzle Pictures Volume II is the second collection of 50 doodle drawings of things you find around the coffee shop for your kids to recreate using their best art and math abilities. With this fun class learning activity, you can teach problem solving with a coffee-shop twist to make it even more interesting and entertaining.
All 50 of the drawings are split up into a grid of smaller and smaller squares and then jumbled around. Your kids must then piece the picture back together again square by square until it's in its correct, original form and revealed as something you might see at a coffee shop.
The grids come in three flavors, with each of the 50 doodles split up into 16, 36, and 64 little squares; that's a total of 150 unique puzzles. So, it's possible to give each of your students their own unique drawing and one that both matches their abilities and challenges them to improve.
What's more, they will have so much fun drawing coffee machines and cakes while solving the puzzles in class that they won't realize they are also learning and building lifelong spatial awareness, creativity, problem solving, math, and art skills.
You can even use these handouts for a homework exercise or as a quiet class activity during break time or icebreaker while the kids sit down to enjoy a drink and a healthy snack.
