This product is a 28 page PowerPoint on Cognitive-Behavior Therapy for children with depression. I am a special education teacher who just completed an additional Master’s degree in Applied Psychology. My aim has been to address some of the social-emotional deficits that contribute to a lack of learning and social isolation, especially among the special education population. The first step I have taken towards this goal has been to learn more about psychological disorders that impact classroom performance. I have other PowerPoint presentations related to different psychological disorders including depression, ADD/ADHD, behavior disorders, bipolar disorder, etc. There are also companion PowerPoint that include cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) techniques specific to certain psychological disorders.
These PowerPoint presentations summarize crucial information from my special education program as well as my psychology program and additional reading I have done (complete reference pages are included at the end of each PowerPoint). I did my best to make these PowerPoint presentations clear and concise. These are large files because I have also included downloaded videos.
If you like my material, I would recommend purchasing the link to my HaikuLearning site which includes all of my PowerPoint presentations as well as other videos and educational materials.
