Hands-on inquiry based lessons, interactive notebook folds and a nonfiction article are combined here to teach students about cohesion and adhesion. This product contains three lessons on properties of water. Students will test water on different materials and record their observations. Students will read a nonfiction passage on cohesion and adhesion and respond to follow up pages that include text dependent questions. A third lesson has students extend upon their knowledge and apply to a new situation. Students will compare and contrast two different liquids and see the difference in their properties.
