This packet was created for differentiation among your students.
Clip cards: Laminate for durability. On the backside of each card, mark the correct
answer with a sticker or marker dot for student self-checking. Use all or some of the clip
cards, depending on your students’ levels.
Directions for use:
Students use clothespins to mark the answer for each card and check the back to see if
their clothespin is on the “dot” answer.
“Penny, Nickel, Dime, Quarter: Counting Out Amounts”
*This was created for follow up to the clip cards. Two versions are available: for higher
students, use the version without the boxes. Students must find and color the different
amounts in the directions. For struggling students or students who have trouble with
visual or organizational issues, use the version with the boxed answers.
*I also included a sheet where students must identify the different types of coins. I plan
to use this with my struggling students as well as my ESL students.
