Do your students need to practice counting coins? Do you want them to stay actively engaged with hands on activities, but you just can't deal with another set of plastic coins spilling all over the floor and the ensuing cleanup time? Fear not!
This product is a fun "Write the Room" style activity that uses pockets and/or coin purses instead of plastic coins. Simply laminate, and students can color in the coins needed. Then it's ready for you to reuse every year.
This product contains 3 levels of practice.
1. Dimes and pennies (10 orange cards)
2. Nickels and pennies (10 purple cards)
3. Nickels, dimes and pennies (10 pink cards)
Recording sheets for all 3 levels are included.
There is little color ink needed. I actually printed mine in black and white on colored paper to differentiate the levels and save color ink.
Print 4 cards per page. Go to "Print," then "print multiple," then select 4. Select pages 2 through 31 to print this way. Print the purse/pocket and recording sheets at full size.
