Description
These Sorting Pads are for student practice or assessment of coin sorting abilities and knowledge.
Please visit my blog about this resource and how I teach Basic Money Skills: Teaching Basic Money Skills from Caffeine Queen Teacher
You’ll notice that some mats have coin denominations already written on them. Those are the ones to use for the most basic of sorting skills. Complete directions are included.
Proficient students can move on to the next step. Slip the blank Coin Sorting Pads into a plastic page protector sleeve. With a dry erase marker, you can write a coin amount on the plastic page protector and ask students to make that amount. Start easy, and build on the skills.
Continue to build on student skills by changing the coin amounts, and the amount of coins you provide them to sort.
Enjoy!
