Description

Help your students learn to count money! These mini-posters (half sized pages) are a great reference tool for students learning to count coins.

These handy reference posters includes pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and half-dollars. There are a total of 5 half-page sized mini posters, and 3” x 5” sized, which are great for a small book ring to keep at student desks. All cards are in color, but you can print them in grayscale if needed.

The posters feature both fronts and backs of the coins to assist student recognition.

Skip counting is a common core math standard (1.OA.5) and counting coins applies this to the real-life skill of money. This money resource builds these skills and aids student recognition while applying them to the real-life situation of counting change.

Please note: This resource is identical to my Counting Dots Money – Worksheets and Game Bundle, except that this set does NOT use Counting Dots. Click here to check out the Touch Money Mini-Posters of Coins with Counting Dots

This resource doesn't use Counting Dots, but the complete directions for using Counting Dots along with examples are included in case you choose to teach your students to count money in that manner.
