This is basically a sheet that can be used to create a relief of the front and back of a quarter, dime, nickel and penny. I worked with a small group of students for math. They had a hard time with identifying coins. After I tried using the fake coins, sorting, and pictures with little success, I thought that using real money might be helpful.
As a group we worked with each coin (front and back) to create a relief. We also used a brown or copper pencil for the penny. Once we were finished we cut off the edges of the paper and put it into their math journals.
