Product Description
These graphic organizers of the Cold War in Europe give you two great options. The standard size is a condensed version of events in Europe while the 11 x 17 organizer builds on the smaller one and adds depth to the topics. Asia is not included but I have another one for that as well.

Just use the large tray in your copy machine. If you cannot print directly to a copy machine or a large size to a standard printer the larger one can likely be printed in your administration offices.

You get:
---- 8.5 x 11 blank organizer and a completed organizer (key or to hand out to students)
---- 11 x 17 blank organizer and a completed organizer (key or to hand out to students)
---- a sheet of 12 open ended questions and answer key

I've attached both a PDF and a Microsoft Publisher version of each size graphic organizer and the questions are in Microsoft Word..

Topics include:

the Iron Curtain speech
division of Germany and Berlin
Marshall Plan
NATO & Warsaw Pact
Berlin Airlift
Berlin Blockade
Ich bin ein Berliner and "tear down this wall" speeches
Detente & SALT
Hungarian and Czechoslovakian revolts
Reagan era defense build up
Gorbachev's reforms of glasnost and perestroika
Gorbachev and Reagan arms reductions
The fall of the wall & new governments in Eastern Europe
The collapse of the USSR and emergence of new nations
Boris Yeltsin taking command of Russia

Use as:
