This lesson is an inference activity that serves as an excellent introduction and overview of new content dealing with the Cold War. It introduces important content vocabulary, requires students to categorize, analyze primary sources, make inferences (hypotheses), support answers with evidence, read for meaning and compare and contrast. It has been successfully used in an AP World History class, but could just as easily be edited for any non-AP World History or Global History course. It usually requires two to three days to complete.
