This graphic organizer can be used to assess understanding of the significance of the Yalta and Potsdam conferences during the early years of the Cold War.
Any U.S. History textbook that covers the Cold War will most likely include content on these two conferences. Students could fill out the organizer using their textbook or the content could be covered via direct instruction and the teacher can use it as an assessment of the content.
Included are pictures of the world leaders at each conference that you could copy into a PowerPoint or distribute to students, the graphic organizer and an answer key.
Textbook used: The American Vision: Modern Times (Glencoe)
