This is a great resource to use anytime you assign a group task to your students. Whether it is in Math, Language, Science or even a get to know you task, the Collaboration Roles work to get all students participating in the task at hand.
In my class, I noticed some students were always the leaders and some students rarely participated during group work. So, I created these Collaboration Roles to give students clear, defined roles to hold them accountable for their contributions during group work.
Another great benefit is, you can use the tracking sheet to ensure that all students get the opportunity to experience different roles.
They also make for great personalized report card comments!
