Simply print, cut, and laminate!
If creating groups of two: select enough titles (cards) so that you have one card per student in your class- and each student will have a matching book title.
If creating groups of three: select enough titles (cards) so that you have one card per student in your class, and each student has one or two more book titles to match up with.
Groups of 4+ can be established easily by selecting two titles to pair together. For example, I'll tell students that the "The Giver" group will pair with the "Harry Potter" group.
I have these placed in a cup by the door, as students enter they randomly draw one card. As we begin the activity, students search out their matching partner(s).
I would suggest monitoring the card drawing process as teens will often attempt to draw the card that matches a peer they wish to work with!
