Collares de Palabras is a fun way to get your students thinking about Spanish Sight Words throughout the day. Use a hole punch to create a hole in the “Sight Word Circles” and finish the necklaces by attaching the circles to a lanyard or to yarn. Give your students the necklaces in the morning when they enter the classroom, during reading time, or when they are struggling to master a certain sight word! Ask the students several times throughout the day to tell you what their Sight Word Necklace says. Consider collecting each student’s sight words on a book ring so they can practice their sight words at school or at home!
There are two versions of each Spanish Sight Word Necklace in this packet. This first version contain the sight word, a sentence containing the sight word, and a picture that illustrates the sentence. The second version contains the sight word on a star.
