This 115-page textbook is the full version (includes problems) of the text, "College Algebra: Lecture Notes", of the same series. It combines the one-page lectures with a one-page set of problems, tailored for each lecture. The problems aim to reinforce understanding of the main definitions and concepts of the lectures. Research conducted by the Carnegie Foundation for Advancement in Teaching identified reliance upon “procedure” or “recipe” problems, instead of “connection” problems, as the main weakness of the American mathematical education. The lectures and the problem selections in this book specifically address that weakness.
