The Colonial America Language Pack is a curriculum based resource developed to target receptive and expressive oral language skills. It is intended for use in speech-language therapy, but may also be used in resource rooms or for in-class centers based activities. Language skills targeted include: inferencing, predicting, recalling details, cause and effect, main idea, and compare / contrast, This packet is intended for use with 3rd-5th grade students. It is aligned to the Common Core State Standards in English Language Arts, as well as the North Carolina Essential Standards for Social Studies.*
