It includes geography activities and maps for students to label the 13 individual colonies and the colonies by area (New England, Middle and Southern) and important geographic features of the U.S to help explain why certain colonies were formed. There are activities to help students learn about early exploration of the U.S. by the French, Spanish and Dutch, which can be done in a group or individually. A video about the lost colony of Roanoke, along with questions for students are included. Early Colonial Research handouts are included with answers for Jamestown and Plymouth, along with video links for students to research information. Also, included are power point presentations about the 13 Colonies with notes for students to complete. Answer sheets are included for each handout, with the exception of the US map.
