This is a choice board or a "tic tac toe" board created to differentiate for both interest and readiness in the classroom. Using RAFT prompts, students will choose a path of three assignments going from left to right and will follow the directions to complete them. This can be done during the unit and can be stretched out over a few weeks if desired.

Produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience.

Apply grade 5 Reading standards to literature (e.g., “Compare and contrast two or more characters, settings, or events in a story or a drama, drawing on specific details in the text [e.g., how characters interact]”).
Produce clear and coherent writing in which the development and organization are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience.
