After the British Parliament passed the Stamp Act, Tea Act, etc, "Taxation Without Representation" became the rallying cry of the colonists. Ever want your students to experience what exactly it was like to be taxed with no representation?
This simulation will allow the students to experience the frustrations felt toward tax collectors, Parliament, and King George III prior to the American Revolution.
As a teacher, this is one of my favorite lessons each year. Students love it!
It will take a few minutes to personalize this simulation as you become the King or Queen of a fictitious land. Edits should not take much time.
