If your class studies Colonial America and specifically trades and occupations, this set will really add to your lessons. Citizens in the colonies practiced simple, yet basic trades and learned skills to become artisans and tradesman. Included in this set are images of some of the most essential trades and occupations found throughout the American Colonies. Featured images include shipbuilding and a ship; wig making, candle making, blacksmith, cabinet making/carpentry, apothecary. In addition there are images of essential supplies found in many of the trades and colonial residences - a butter churner, bucket, barrel, and a spinning wheel
