2-4 day Lesson Plan and Project
Students read several "problems" in the new colony they are a part of. They are required to solve this problem through the use of a proposal to the town hall for a meeting. Students work collaboratively to critically think, problem solve, practice their writing skills as well as their speaking and listening skills.
Differentiation: Students are able to create posters, write a proposal, and present their findings. It allows room for variation in the types of products created by students.
