Color A Sound Candy House! Early Targets! Speech Therapy Activity
NO-PREP! Ink Friendly! Print & Go!
Your students will love coloring this gingerbread house while practicing their sounds!
This activity was designed to be a simple, no-prep activity to target articulation during
the winter holiday season.
I also have a similar product that includes common articulation targets that's a simple cut and paste craft. Click it out here
• Initial/Medial/Final: p,b, m, n, t, d, k, g, f
• Initial: w, y, h
• Initial sblends: sp, st, sm, sn, sk, sl, sw, mixed
• Blank page (to use with any speech/language target)
None! Print & go!
→ To use: Print out a Candy House page for every student in the group (page 3 of the download). Print out the sound pages with the target sounds needed for each student. The student will practice the word in the box and then color the part of the candy house underneath it (window, tree, fence, door etc..)
To keep my students hands busy between turns, I have them color in the target word and the house part on the sound page too. The therapist will determine the number or trials per word during the activity.
