The 3 "categories" of Orff instruments (Metallophones, Glockenspiels, and Xylophones) are beautifully depicted on color coded posters for display in your music room. All metallophones are on blue backgrounds, xylophones are on red, and glockenspiels are on yellow. (I then color code the labels on my instruments to these color categories for ease in understanding and making connections).
Posters Included Are:
1. Soprano Metallophone
2. Alto Metallophone
3. Bass Metallophone
4. Metallophone (Just to identify the family)
5. Soprano Xylophone
6. Alto Xylophone
7. Bass Xylophone
8. Xylophone (Just to identify the family)
9. Soprano Glockenspiel
10. Alto Glockenspiel
11. Glockenspiel (Just to identify the family)
Display them all, just display the generic family cards, or display the instruments you will be using for a specific lesson. I use these for students to see the difference between instruments using color. Nice, clear visual for students to understand differences between types of Orff instruments as well as crucial vocabulary.
Coming soon: Treble in the Classroom will be making pentatonic pictoral cards to match these beautiful visuals.
