Visual learners having difficulty learning the most common words in your K-3 reading program? Looking for a way to differentiate and accelerate high-frequency word practice? Have them broaden their horizons by practicing using color sets. Each student will start off with one color set and will not move on to the next set until that set is mastered. Angela may work with her green set for three weeks, while Justice breezes through and is quickly working on the green, orange, and blue sets. Both are working and both are progressing. Send a set home and keep a set at school to use in your literacy center.
* This bundle uses sight words in a different order than my original listing and goes in the same order as the reading program I now use - Reading Horizons. My kindergartners typically use sets 1 - 8, and 1st grade's goal is to get to set 19, but this is the entire set to use with any grade, Kindergarten - Third. The first eleven sets contain 10 words each and the sets that follow there after contain 15 - 20 words. Included in this purchase is a bonus set of awards to use with your students.
