This lesson plan introduces the concept of "color coding foods." Using a color coding system, the lesson is designed to help students easily understand how healthy a particular food is; which helps them to make healthier food choices, every day, and for the long term. The “color coding system” is a reminder that each time they eat; they should keep these suggestions in mind. 3-2-1 writing activity about "Color coding your foods" - 3 things students learned, 2 things they would like to know more about, 1 question they have.
