Learning with colors in hands-on ways can help children and students not only recognize them, but will help them to be able to mix them together to make other colors as well. I also find that hands-on learning is even better when you get down and dirty and there is no better way than with paints. These color dough mats are as easy as 1-2-3-4 to use…
Grab your Color Dough Mats. Print them in color. Laminate your pages. Create!
Have your child or student match the appropriate color of dough to the mat.
Have your child or student spread their dough out to match the pattern on the mat.
Have your child trace and say the color word using a dry erase marker.
Repeat with as many color mats as you would like them to complete.
