A fantastically colorful game for you to work on a variety of language and literacy skills!!!
Print and laminate board and die. Roll die and move to the first color circle that matches on the game board. Roll the second die and identify the sound that is in the number position you roll (i.e. 1 – beginning sound, 2 – middle sound, 3 – last sound).
A second way to play that includes language/vocabulary practice is to have students describe the picture they land on or use the word in a sentence.
Want to work on rhyming? Have students come up with words that rhyme with the word they land on.
