Within this product, you will find a game that I use to engage students in the continuous process of building addition fluency.
I use ‘color my sum’ as a practice opportunity when I initially teach the concept of using fingers to ‘count on’ to add. My students LOVED the game and even wanted to take it home to play with their families, so I created a few more ‘color my sum’ editions to keep students excited to play! I use this specific version throughout the month of March.
How to play:
1. Roll two number cubes (either two 6-sided or two 10-sided, depending on choice of game board)
3. Color that sum
*Can be played independently, with a partner, or with multiple players.
