A cute little task to help the kids with color recognition. You can cut and laminate the pieces for longer use. I suggest for added fun, to use magnet tape or velcro dots so that the ice cream doesn't slide around on the slippery laminate against laminate I find can be annoying. This also offers a chance to get the kids working together! But you can also just pass out the recording sheet and have them color the ice cream cones in.
-----There are kid friendly visual directions as well as written. Four pages for four easy steps.
-----6 pages with large, colored ice cream cones labeled: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, brown, grey, white, and black. The white does have some added color so it's not wasted printing as well as a blank ice cream cone.
----6 pages with large, colored ice cream scoops that fit perfectly into the blank space on the ice cream cones. These are not labeled, hence recognizing color.
----1 recording sheet where the students can then color in with the correct crayon.
----1 blank recording sheet where the older students can write the name of the color and color the ice cream cone.
